Opening a public profile, a public post, or a public ad library from another country is a rendering check. It is not permission to run extra accounts, evade a ban, or automate actions the platform forbids. If the platform’s terms disallow the job, do not do the job through a proxy.

Proxy Grove publishes Unlimited plans for three products. Residential and Corporate start at $2 per IP per day. Mobile starts at $4.50 per IP per day. Durations are 1, 7, 30, or 90 days. Traffic on those plans is not billed per gigabyte. Fair use still applies, which means a plan is not a promise of infinite concurrency or a waiver of the acceptable-use rules. The pricing page is the only source for the current rate.

A worked example, not a quote: 4 residential IPs for 30 days is 4 × $2 × 30 = $240, whatever the page weight, until fair use. The same 30 days at 20 GB per day is 600 GB. At $3 per GB, which is inside the public range competitors were showing on 16 October 2026, that is $1,800. At 1 GB per day the per-GB bill is $90 and the per-IP bill is still $240, so the gigabyte plan is cheaper. Use the calculator and type the rate from the vendor page you are actually comparing.

How to run it

A sticky mobile IP fits a manual review that should stay on one carrier address. A residential IP fits a desktop view. Unlimited traffic matters when the page autoplays video. One IP for seven days at the mobile rate is 7 × $4.50 = $31.50, independent of how long the videos are, until fair use.

Copy the host, port, username, and password from the dashboard after you buy. Match the protocol to the client. A Python requests session looks like this, with placeholders instead of a real password.

When not to buy this

Do not buy a month of IPs for a one-time 2 GB sample. Do not buy Mobile at $4.50 if a residential exit is enough. Do not expect city, ZIP, or ASN targeting unless the product page lists it. Do not treat fair use as optional.

If you need a shared pool of tens of millions of rotating addresses, the per-GB vendors in the comparison articles are the closer product. Link those pages from this one and decide with the calculator.

Six situations with the arithmetic written out

Public video, 25 MB, 10 posts, 1 day. Proxy Grove side: $2 residential or $4.50 mobile. Per-GB side, using a rate you must confirm on that vendor's page: 0.25 GB is cheap on a GB plan. Reading: per-GB wins for a spot check. These figures use the published Proxy Grove day rates of $2 for Residential and Corporate and $4.50 for Mobile. The gigabyte rates are illustrations inside the public ranges we saw on 16 October 2026, not a current invoice from Decodo, IPRoyal, Webshare, Evomi, Oxylabs, or Bright Data.

Public videos, 25 MB, 40 posts/day, 30 days. Proxy Grove side: 30 GB. Residential is $60. Per-GB side, using a rate you must confirm on that vendor's page: 30 x $3.50 = $105. Reading: per-IP wins.

Autoplay plus thumbnails, 80 MB x 20/day, 14 days, mobile. Proxy Grove side: 22.4 GB. $4.50 x 14 = $63. Per-GB side, using a rate you must confirm on that vendor's page: 22.4 x $6 = $134.40. Reading: per-IP wins.

Text-only public bios, 50 KB x 100. Proxy Grove side: Residential day rate $2. Per-GB side, using a rate you must confirm on that vendor's page: a few cents of GB. Reading: per-GB wins.

Four markets, 4 sticky IPs, 30 days. Proxy Grove side: 4 x $2 x 30 = $240 residential. Per-GB side, using a rate you must confirm on that vendor's page: depends entirely on video weight. Reading: count bytes before you choose.

A banned-account workaround. Proxy Grove side: Do not buy this. Per-GB side, using a rate you must confirm on that vendor's page: Do not buy that either. Reading: a proxy does not make a forbidden action allowed.

Log the byte count from the client, not from a feeling. In Python, response.headers.get('content-length') is a start, and len(response.content) is the body you actually received. Add the request size if you upload files. Multiply by runs per day, then by days. Put that gigabyte total in the calculator with the IP count. If fair use would stop the job, the cheap arithmetic is irrelevant. Ask support before you commit a large concurrency number.

Keep the endpoint secret out of the repository. A host, port, username, and password from the dashboard is enough for requests or httpx. Select SOCKS5 only in a client that speaks SOCKS5. Select HTTP for requests, curl -x, and most SEO tools. After the first successful response, confirm the exit country matches the country you set, then increase the run.

What to write down before checkout

Write the result down before you buy. The day rate does not change when a page is heavier, until fair use stops the job. The gigabyte rate changes on every retry, every image, and every extra country. If your log shows less than about one gigabyte a day, start with a per-GB plan and use Proxy Grove only for a sticky identity you will keep. If your log shows many gigabytes a day through a handful of exits, start with the day rate and open the calculator with your own numbers. Neither choice is a measurement of block rates. A proxy that is cheaper can still be the wrong network for the site you are allowed to request.

Then read the matching comparison if you are also looking at Decodo, IPRoyal, or Webshare. Those articles say when their product is the better fit. Come back to pricing only after the byte count is real.
